The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2012 Costume Institute Gala was the place to be in New York City last night, filled to brim with A-list celebrities from the music, fashion and film worlds. A few notable attendees included Beyonce and Solange Knowles plus Rihanna and Rick Ross who shared their meeting via Instagram.
Beyonce vs. Rihanna: Two Different Takes On Social Media
Beyonce didn’t hold back with her outfit for the night, showing off her post-baby figure in a sheer body-hugging Givenchy dress, with a purple ombre featured train. Rihanna went for a much sleeker look with a skin tight crocodile applique dress that looked almost like it’d been painted on (we wouldn’t put it past her).
Our biased pick for stunner of the night was Rick Ross, who celebrated Meek Mill’s birthday in Philadelphia on Sunday night and made it back to NYC in time for the big ball. Before hitting the red carpet he pregamed a little, tweeting,”Few cocktails befor Metball.. #BossesOnly” sharing a photo of a glass of red wine.
During the night Rozay hung with Rihanna for a bit, who snapped a photo with the MMG CEO for her fans, tweeting it with the caption, “we gonna have babies.” (Rick Ross, obviously, RTweeted it).
