Bright Eyes – The People’s Key (Full Album Stream)

After we heard two tracks off Bright Eyes’ The People’s Key (1, 2), NPR.org now offers a stream of the piece in its final form. Promoted as the group’s best offering to date, the LP combines elements of a largely experimental and conceptual record with captivating melodies and rhythms. NPR is on solid grounds when it states that this project has the potential to become a career-defining record for the Conor Oberst-led trio. The People’s Key will be streamable until February 15 when it is released via Saddle Creek.

Jessie J featuring B.o.B – Price Tag

British pop/soul singer Jesse J has been generating quite an impressive buzz with the chart-proven “Do It Like A Dude”. Now she is speeding up the industry by delivering “Price Tag”, which features a verse from B.O.B. and production from certified hit-maker Dr. Luke. The radio-friendly tune highlights the essence of music without minding the “price-tag”. The accompanying video features the artist in a number of playful scenes and theatrical outfits, including that of a string puppet to mock the dependance so many of us have on money. Jessy J’s song-writing skills are also to be reckoned with as she is credited with penning Miley Cyrus’ 2009 chart-topping hit, “Party In The USA”, as well as songs for Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake. Thus, be on the lookout for Jessie’s debut album, Who You Are, which will release sometime this year via Lava/Universal Republic Records. Thanks to Matt Morris.
